By collecting certain data in Remnant 2, you can unlock another secret Archetype - the Archon

Remnant 2 has already been a success, selling over a million copies in just one week after its release and doubling the number of simultaneous players compared to the original Remnant on Steam. And while many players have dived into the deepest depths of the game and uncovered various secrets, perhaps the most interesting one will be the entire Archetype that requires data collection to unlock.

Here's What We Know

According to information posted by forum members on Reddit, after opening the Labyrinth doors, you will get access to Backrooms, where you can pick up various items, including the Strange Box Engram. If you take it to Wallace, you'll be able to unlock the Archon, a character class that specialises in weapon modification and mod energy generation.

Remnant 2's lead designer Ben Cureton confirmed that certain data is required to unlock the class:

"We knew we couldn’t stop datamining, so we leaned into it and created an entire Archetype that could be shared with the community once revealed by those with the ability to see between worlds".

Remnant 2 is available on Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and PC.
