LG has unveiled a huge wireless 4K Signature OLED M wireless 4K TV with 120Hz frame rate for over $30,000
LG has a new wireless TV in its range. The model is called Signature OLED M.
Here's What We Know
The LG Signature OLED M is characterised by an almost complete absence of wires. The set includes only a power cable. For everything else, a Zero Connect Box attachment is provided. The Korean company has created a proprietary wireless communication protocol for the new TV.
The device is equipped with a 4K UHD OLED panel with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, a diagonal of 97" and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. All wired (HDMI 2.1, USB, LAN) and wireless (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi) interfaces are transferred to Zero Connect Box.
Transmission of image and sound from the set-top box to the TV set is carried out using LG Zero Connect protocol. For this purpose the distance between them should not exceed 10 metres and the antenna should be directed towards the TV.
LG Signature OLED M supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. The company claims that the proprietary protocol provides about three times faster speeds compared to Wi-Fi 6E. LG plans to add Zero Connect support to its OLED evo M series wireless TVs.
Pricing and when to expect
The LG Signature OLED M is only available in the UK and South Korea for now. The huge TV was priced at £24,999 ($31,600) and $35,200 respectively.
