Samsung Galaxy S9 + detonated Geekbench and scored the highest scores on two tests

In the popular benchmark Geekbench appeared the test results of the unannounced smartphone Samsung SM-G965U1. Experts on the Web believe that this number hides the future flagship of Samsung Galaxy S9 +.

New record

Based on the received data, the Galaxy S9 + showed impressive results in the tests: the smartphone scored 2422 points in the single-core test, and 8351 points in the multi-core test. The Korean novelty became the first model, which managed to score more than 2000 points in the single-core mode. In addition, the multi-core test of the smartphone also received the highest score in the history of Geekbench.

Samsung Galaxy S9 + passed tests in the following configuration: chip Snapdragon 845, 6 gigabytes of RAM and Android 8.0 Oreo.

What is known

Flagship Samsung will receive model numbers SM-G960 and SM-G965. The first will be equipped with a Super AMOLED display with curved side frames of 5.8 inches, the second with 6.2 inches. Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 + will be equipped with a fresh 10-nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor (for the US market) or the same brand new Exynos 9810 chip for other regions. Galaxy S9 will receive 4 gigabytes of RAM, Galaxy S9 + - 6 gigabytes of RAM. Both models will provide 64 gigabytes of built-in flash memory and a slot for microSD cards. There will also be a 3.5 mm audio jack and AKG speakers. An approximate date for the announcement of the flagships is the February exhibition MWC 2018.
