Uber launches new uberVAN service in Kiev

Uber announced the launch of a service for travel by a small company - uberVAN. The new service is already available to residents of the Ukrainian capital.

How it works?

With the help of uberVAN you can order a more spacious car. The service will be connected minivans and minibuses, for example, Mercedes-Benz Vito, Volkswagen Transporter, Mitsubishi Grandis and others. The main requirement is the availability of 6 passenger seats. Before the launch in Kiev, the option appeared in cities such as Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Geneva, Paris, Nice, Rome, Brussels, Warsaw, Milan, Munich, Lima, Bogota, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Vienna.

To cause a spacious car, just move the slider to the desired option in the Uber application.

How much is?

For Kiev, the cost of a trip uberVAN is calculated by the formula: 45 hryvnia per serving, 5.8 hryvnia per kilometer and 1.8 hryvnia per minute en route. The minimum order value is 80 UAH. With long trips after 20 kilometers, the tariff starts to be 15 hryvnia per kilometer.

uberVAN is the fourth Uber service in Kyiv (excluding temporary promotions).
