ZTE Axon 7 received the beta version of Android 8.0 Oreo
Recently, ZTE company announced that ZTE Axon 7 will receive a fresh operating system Android 8.0 Oreo, but did not talk about the timing. A few days ago there was news that some owners of a smartphone in the US who are participating in beta testing, can install a new operating system.
According to the testers at the ZTE forum, the beta version is very similar to the "clean" Android with minimal changes in the OS design. The company called the new shell "Stock + UI", which became, in fact, the usual version of the OS with several interesting features. Now there is no exact list of innovations, but we can assume that they added a January security patch and new features of the Android Oreo operating system. While there is no information about the final assembly.
Recall that the ZTE Axon 7 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory. The smartphone received a 20 megapixel main camera with a f / 1.8 aperture, and a front camera at 8 megapixels with a viewing angle of 88 degrees.
