Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus can be released for the Indian market as Redmi Note 5
Xiaomi released Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus in December 2017. While smartphones are sold only in China. Immediately after the announcement, news appeared that the new Redmi will replace the popular line of smartphones Redmi Note. But there was no official information from Xiaomi.
The other day there was a rumor that the company will present in a month both new items in India and the older version of the smartphone will be called Redmi Note 5. The smartphone Redmi Note 4 was a bestseller in many countries and, of course, users are eagerly waiting for the next model. But all this indicates that most likely in the future we can not see, usual for all, the line of smartphones Redmi Note. Instead, in some markets, Redmi 5 Plus will be sold as Redmi Note 5.
Recall that Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus received a 6-inch screen with Full HD + resolution with thin frames around the display and an aspect ratio of 18: 9. The smartphone installed a 12 megapixel camera, a Snapdragon 625 processor and a 4000 mAh battery. The RAM is 3/4 GB, and the built-in memory is 32/64 GB. The device runs on Android 7.0, on top of which the MIUI 9 shell is installed.
