Now parents can approve the purchase of children in the App Store using Face ID. Previously, you had to use a fingerprint scanner for this.
How it works
In the upcoming update of iOS under the number 11.3, the developers have finalized the recognition technology and algorithms for triggering the TrueDepth sensor. To unlock the function, the parent device will first need to enter a password to approve the purchase, and then confirm the use of the Face ID for authentication in the future. In addition to finalizing family access in the App Store, update 11.3 also introduces battery monitoring technology, as well as the ability to turn off the device's slowdown function with an old battery. So the recent scandal was not in vain.
