The first trailer of the fantastic movie "Silent" came out: neon and cyberpunk from Duncan Jones
The company Netflix released the first trailer of a fantastic picture directed by Duncan Jones , who shot "The Moon 2112", "Source Code" and "Warcraft". "Mute" is released on February 23 and will be available to all Netflix subscribers.
Plot
The film takes place in Berlin of the future and tells about a dumb barman named Leo ( Alexander Skarsgard ). He is in love with the girl Nadir ( Seineb Saleh ), and when she disappears, the main character desperately tries to find her. During the search, Leo meets Duck ( Paul Rudd ) and Cactus Billy ( Justin Theroux ). They promise to help him find the girl, but for this they need a dumb barman to perform a couple of illegal errands. Leo is getting closer to the brutal neon Berlin and his dangerous secrets.
What to expect
As we wrote above, in the director's chair of "Silent" is an excellent director Duncan Jones. He also co-wrote the script with Michael Robert Johnson . The latter worked on the scenarios of "Sherlock Holmes" and "Pompeii", and therefore at least deserves a good story. The cast is also good: Scarsgard and Rudd are not world-class actors, but for a similar cyberpunk thriller they can not be better. For the musical accompaniment we are also calm - the composer of the film will be the famous Clint Mansell , which means that atmospheric and correct music is provided to the picture. It seems that Jones decided to withdraw his version of "Blade Runner" and Netflix gave it a go. Although judging by the trailer of scale and scope, the picture is not enough, but let's give it a well-deserved chance.
