Czech Republic may start training Ukrainian pilots on Swedish Saab JAS 39 Gripen fighters

The information was shared by the Czech edition of Radio Prague International, citing a statement by Czech Defence Minister Jana Černochová. Unfortunately, there are no details about the negotiations yet. JAS 39 Gripen is a Swedish multirole fighter of the fourth generation. Its development is carried out by the Saab company. Work on the aircraft began in 1979. In 1988, the JAS 39 Gripen took to the skies for the first time. The fighter is in service with the Swedish Air Force. It is also used by the armies of the Czech Republic, Hungary, South Africa, Thailand and Brazil.
