Flagman Moto Z2 Force arrived in Ukraine with a price tag of 17995 hryvnia
Motorola announced the launch of sales of the flagship smartphone Moto Z2 Force with unbreakable display and support for Moto Mods. A few days before the release on our market, the device also received an upgrade to Android 8.0 Oreo.
How is it interesting?
The novelty uses the proprietary technology ShatterShield, thanks to which the display of the smartphone does not beat in the fall. At the Ukrainian presentation Moto Z2 Force was dropped from a meter height for three hours. The result is 691 drops and no serious damage to the screen. From scratching the cover of the 5.5-inch P-OLED panel is not protected as well, but the manufacturer put a set of additional protective films in the box.
The heart of the smartphone was a top-end chipset in 2017, Snapdragon 835, RAM 6 GB, built-in 64 GB plus a hybrid slot for a microSD card or a second SIM. The main camera consists of monochrome and color modules of 12 megapixels each. Blur and replace the background on the images are supported. The front 5-megapixel camera is equipped with its own flash.
The flagship is enclosed in a metal case made of durable aluminum of the 7000 series. Inside the battery is hidden 2730 mAh - there is no need to expect records of autonomy, but there is a quick charge TurboPower through USB type-C port. To it, an adapter is connected to a 3.5 mm audio jack. Immediately after purchase, you can update to the latest version of Android. In the "clean" system, there are only a few of Moto's proprietary features, which we talked about in our Moto Z2 Force review. The gadget is compatible with all the accessories of the Moto Mods line.
Price and competitors
In Ukraine, the recommended retail price of Moto Z2 Force is 17,995 hryvnia. This level of Huawei P10 Plus and a thousand cheaper HTC U11 or Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. In the rating of the flagships with the best price-performance ratio, Xiaomi Mi 6 (black in Allo can be bought at the promotional price of 11,000 hryvnia) is in the lead, but this is a more compact model, and 5.5-inch Mi Note 3 for 13,000 hryvnia got more modest characteristics. And even if you are not a fan of the module concept, the unbreakable screen is only available from Motorola.
As for models with thin frames, they will cost much more expensively. LG G6 with a chip of the previous generation and 4/64 GB of memory costs 20 thousand, arrived LG V30 + and Huawei Mate 10 Pro - 25 thousand, and Galaxy S8 will cost 23 thousand.
