The first details about Snapdragon 670

Qualcomm in December last year introduced its flagship processor Snapdragon 845 . If we talk about the middle segment, then rumors about the Snapdragon 670, the predecessor of the 660-th, went for a long time, but now there are some characteristics of the chipset.

What is known

Snapdragon 670 will be a 10-nm chipset, which is not based on the classic architecture big.LITTLE. Instead of four high-performance and four low-performance cores, the novelty will receive six low-performance and two high-performance cores.

The new chipset will support the resolution to WQHD. Thanks to the Snapdragon X2X modem, it will be able to produce download speeds of up to 1 Gbit / s. Speaking of memory, the 670 will offer support for UFS 2.1 and eMMC 5.1. For the graphics will answer Adreno 615. Snapdragon 670 has support for two cameras, according to leaks - it can be 13 Mp + 23 Mp.

When to expect

The exact date of the announcement is not yet available, but it is possible that the new processor will be presented at the exhibition MWC 2018, which will be held at the end of this month in Barcelona.
