Rendors of the flagship smartphone Asus ZenFone 5: like the iPhone X, only from Asus

A few days ago, the German resource Winfuture said that one of the three smartphones line Asus ZenFone 5 will receive a "monobrow", like the iPhone X. And today there were the first renderers of the company's flagship smartphone. And he, really, got the same cutout for the camera and sensors.

What is known

According to the image, Asus ZenFone 5 very much resembles the iPhone not only because of the cutout, but also in design and its dimensions. Most likely, the device does not receive a special face scan sensor, but the unlocking technology will be present. Perhaps, it is implemented as well as in OnePlus 5 / 5T.

The smartphone has a dual camera. Under it there was an LED flash. And to the right of the camera, in the center, a scanner of fingerprints was placed.

Asus ZenFone 5 will receive a glass case with a metal frame. The power and volume buttons are set to the right side, and the SIM card tray to the left. From the bottom you can see a 3.5 mm jack, a USB Type C and a speaker grille.

Unfortunately, so far there is no information about the specifications of the device.

When to expect

Asus ZenFone 5 will be presented at the MWC 2018 together with ZenFone 5 Lite and ZenFone 5 Max.
