According to analyst Neil Shah (Neil Shah), which is a partner of Counterpoint Research, Nokia took 6th place, as the largest mobile phone manufacturer in the world.

HMD Global began to develop the Nokia brand well, but the manufacturer should focus more on the smartphone segment. Analyst Neil Shah advised companies to come up with a focused strategy in Latin America to compete with Motorola and Samsung, and also to focus on the markets of Asia and Europe in 2018.
