Qualcomm introduced the super-fast modem Snapdragon X24 LTE

According to company representatives, Snapdragon X24 LTE is the world's first LTE-modem of the Cat.20 series with a data transfer rate of up to 2 Gbit / s (in Snapdragon X20 LTE this figure is up to 1.2 Gbit / s). The maximum upload speed is 316 Mbps (for Snapdragon X20 LTE - 150 Mbps). The only one ahead of the new modem is the announced Snapdragon X50 (up to 5 Gb / s), but it is made for 5G-networks.

Snapdragon X24 LTE is also the first in the world modem, created by 7-nm technology. The model supports twenty spatial LTE streams, FD-MIMO, 256-QAM mode and Massive MIMO technology. In addition, the new modem works with all major cellular technologies (LTE FDD, LTE TDD, WCDMA, TD-SCDMA, EV-DO, CDMA 1x and GSM / EDGE), including 3G and 2G, LTE Dual SIM, LTE Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS) + LAA, HD and Ultra HD Voice over LTE (VoLTE) and LTE Broadcast.
