Intel pays $ 250,000 for detecting vulnerabilities like Specter

Intel has increased the award for discovering new vulnerabilities like Meltdown and Specter.

Also, the second program to find third-party vulnerabilities like Meltdown and Specter is open. The reward for the search for such vulnerabilities increases to $ 250 thousand.

Increased reward for the search for similar exploits is associated with the complexity of their demonstration. Since unlike purely software attacks, they require a lot of effort. The offer is valid until December 31, 2018.

Intel promises that the vulnerability scan program will only expand, and in 2018 the company will release protected chips.
