Armored flagship Samsung Galaxy S6 Active is presented, so far only for AT & T

The output of the protected flagship Samsung Galaxy S6 Active was only a matter of time, its main characteristics and appearance were already merged. The smartphone was officially announced, but so far only as an exclusivity for the US operator AT & T, when the international version will appear, is still unknown. The smartphone got a more brutal design with a camouflage back cover, several color solutions will be available.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Active is certified according to military standard MIL-STD 810G and IP68. The smartphone withstands extreme high and low temperatures, has protection against shocks, vibrations, dust, can withstand a fall from a height of 1.2 m and can be 30 minutes under water at a depth of 1.5 meters. Unlike the usual flagship, S6 Active lost its fingerprint scanner, but received a more capacious battery at 3500 mAh, otherwise the characteristics match.

The smartphone is equipped with a 5.1-inch SuperAMOLED-display with a resolution of 2560x1440, a 14-nm 64-bit eight-core Exynos 7420 processor, 3 GB of operative and 32 GB of internal memory. The main camera is 16 megapixels, the front camera is 5 MP.
