Google banned the search engine to open images in full size, protecting copyright

Google again made changes to   the work of its search engine: on   This time is gone «View image» button ( "View   full size " ) when searching for a specific image. Also on   the selected image appears: " Images can be protected by copyright " .

Why removed

Earlier with   using this button in the   search engine images it was possible to open the image separately and   at   full resolution, without having to switch to   site. However, photographers and   publishers were unhappy with the unhindered " theft " of their   works, so Google had to go to   compromise.

Removing the " View image " button was one of the   terms and conditions of the license agreement between Google and   a major photobank Getty Images. Such a decision in   corporations were called "the balance between meeting the needs of users and   publishers " .

What to do

But   open images in   full size is still possible, only have to spend an extra 30 seconds. There are several ways to do this:

  1. AT   image search results, right-click on the image.   photos and   select " Open picture in   new tab " ;
  2. Press the right mouse button and   select " Copy image URL " , then enter it in the   address bar.

And users of Google Chrome can install an add-on to the browser , which returns the familiar button back.
