Google Pixel Watch 2 - Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1, 24 hours of runtime, fast charging, IP68 and Google services priced from $350

Google has decided to go beyond the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro smartphones. The company also unveiled the Google Pixel Watch 2 smart watch.

Here's What We Know

The wearable gadget has a 41 mm diameter body made of stainless steel. It contains a round OLED display with a resolution of 384 x 384 pixels and a density of 320 ppi. The screen has received support for Always-on Display.

The hardware platform of the Google Pixel Watch 2 is built around the Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 chip. The process has Adreno 702 graphics and is complemented by 2GB of RAM. The 306 mA*h battery provides 24 hours of Always-on Display and supports fast charging.

The smart features are standard. The watch can track physical activity, measure blood oxygen levels, calculate heart rate and measure temperature. Artificial intelligence is used to control the indicators.

The case of the Googe Pixel Watch 2 is IP68 water and dust resistant. The company also claims that the watch can withstand submersion in water up to 50 metres deep. The software platform is Wear OS 4 with access to Google services.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The Googe Pixel Watch 2 with LTE is priced at $400. The version without cellular support will cost $350. Deliveries will start on 12-13 October 2023.
