Google integrates its own applications into iMessage for iOS

Google announced that the search application for iOS will receive several updates. The changes are aimed at improving the interaction between the Google App and iMessage application.

What is known

The company has added an extension for iMessage, which allows you to share videos, pictures and other content during a conversation. For example, if a user is hungry, he can share his location and find a restaurant nearby without leaving iMessage. To the right of the search bar is a special button that switches the search mode.

The update will take effect automatically if the Google app is updated to the latest version. Note that the new chip works only in the United States. The company promised that it will add support for other languages and locations in the near future.

Continuation of cooperation

Last year, Google added new features to interact with web content on iOS. So, Google shows relevant content on requests in Safari without performing an additional search. For example, if you "google" weapons stores, the search engine will offer to attend courses on the basics of shooting.

Also users iPad on iOS 11, can drag images, text and links, working in a multi-window mode. If you press and clamp on an article, you can place the link in another window, for example, with iMessage or Notes.
