Like the iPad Pro: Apple is working on an iPad Air with a larger 12.9-inch display

DigiTimes, citing industry sources, reports that Apple is working on a new iPad Air tablet with a larger display.

According to the leak, it will be a version with a 12.9-inch screen, which will be the largest iPad Air model in the current range.

The current iPad Air is only available in one size - with a 10.9-inch screen. But Apple has the iPad Pro in two versions: with 11-inch and 12.9-inch screens. Only, unlike the iPad Pro, the updated iPad Air will not get a mini-LED display - it will be a conventional LCD panel.

When exactly the enlarged iPad Air will debut is still unknown. But, according to rumours, the new model with M2 chip will be released in the coming months.
