EA Motive head shared news about the development of Iron Man: Marvel fans are actively helping in the development of the game

About a year ago it became known that EA Motive studio is developing an action game about Iron Man from Marvel Comics universe.

The developers still did not provide any information about the game, but now Motive's general manager Patrick Klaus has shed light on some of the nuances of the development.

Here's What We Know

Patrick Klaus said that Iron Man is being developed using the same approach as the Dead Space remake. It consists of creating a "community council", which includes Marvel fans and Iron Man fans in particular. Their job is to make sure that every element of the game doesn't contradict other storylines in the universe and, ideally, is connected to them.

The hugely successful Dead Space remake showed that this approach can keep the authenticity of the franchise while still refreshing it with new ideas.

Patrick Claus mentioned that the game is in early development and is being built on Unreal Engine 5 rather than Frostbite.
