Qualcomm is working on the flagship Snapdragon 855 processor with 550 X50 modem

Telecommunications corporation SoftBank declassified some information about the future flagship chip Qualcomm Snapdragon 855.

What was told

Snapdragon 855 will receive a prefix Fusion in the title. While it is not known exactly what it means, it is believed that this is due to the installation of the future processor not only in smart phones, but also in laptops, tablets and ultrabuki.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 is produced on a 7-nm process technology. It will include 8 cores and a fresh cellular modem Snapdragon X50 5G. The first massive shipments of the flagship single-chip system are scheduled for the first quarter of 2019.
