Xiaomi 14 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip passed the performance test in Geekbench 5 a few days before the presentation

Xiaomi will unveil its next-generation flagship smartphones this week. A few days before the announcement, the Xiaomi 14 passed a performance test in Geekbench 5.

Here's What We Know

In the database of the popular benchmark appeared modification with 16 GB of RAM. It is expected that Xiaomi 14 will also be available with 12 GB and possibly with 8 GB of RAM.

The heart of the smartphone will be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, and one of the features will be the new HyperOS firmware based on the Android 14 operating system. As for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, it will be officially unveiled tomorrow.

Geekbench 5 indicates that the next-generation processor will get Cortex-X4, Cortex-A720 and Cortex-A520 cores at 3.3GHz, 2.7-2.96GHz and 2.7GHz respectively. The result in the Single-Core test was 1698 points, while the Multi-Core smartphone scored 6260 points.

Apart from the Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 14 Pro and HyperOS firmware, the Chinese company will unveil the Xiaomi Watch S3 smartwatch. The presentation will take place on 26 October 2023.
