As if it hasn't been twenty years: the first gameplay footage of Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater, a remake of the cult stealth action game, has been unveiled.
At the Xbox Partner Preview show, publisher Konami unveiled a video with the first gameplay footage of Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater, a remake of the third instalment of the cult stealth action franchise.
Here's What We Know
The video shows gameplay footage shot directly in the game, which is created on Unreal Engine 5.
The protagonist masterfully infiltrates the enemy territory, bypasses the swamps and jungles of Siberia (yes, yes, it's not a mistake - Hideo Kojima's imagination has grown jungles in Siberia) and eliminates guards if necessary.
Gameplay footage is interspersed with a few staged scenes, which were shown in the announcement trailer in May.
The game looks modern, realistic and technologically advanced, but all the elements and mechanics of the 2004 original have been carefully preserved.
When We Can Expect It
No release date has been given for Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater, the game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
