DJI has introduced the OSMO Pocket 3 camera with a 1" CMOS sensor, 4K@120fps support and a 2" display, priced from $519
As expected, DJI has announced the next generation stabiliser-powered camera. The model is called DJI OSMO Pocket 3.
Here's What We Know
The new camera is equipped with a 1" optical format CMOS sensor with a resolution of 9.4 MP. DJI OSMO Pocket 3 supports shooting 10-bit 4K ULTRA HD video at 120fps and ActiveTrack 6.0 for object tracking.
The image sensor is paired with a lens that has an aperture of f/2.0 and an equivalent focal length of 20mm. ND filters can be used to provide the required shutter speed due to the fixed aperture.
The DJI OSMO Pocket 3 can record standard video at resolutions of 3840 x 2160, 2160 x 2160, 3072 x 3072, 1728 x 3072, 2688 x 1512, 1512 x 2688, 1920 x 1080, 1080 x 1920 and 1080 x 1080 at frame rates of 24, 25, 30, 48, 50 and 60 fps. Slow motion is available in 4K UHD (120 fps) and Full HD (240 fps). In addition, the camera is able to take photos in RAW format.
One of the innovations of DJI OSMO Pocket 3 is a 2" diagonal display. It is based on OLED panel with a resolution of 314 x 556 pixels and a brightness of 700 nits. The 1300 mA*h battery allows you to shoot video in 4K@60fps for 116 minutes
Price & When We Can Expect It
The DJI OSMO Pocket 3 is already available for purchase. The camera has been priced at $519 / €539. The Creator Combo kit with DJI Mic 2 transmitter, tripod and bag is priced at $669 / €679.
