AMD and Korean telecom giant KT have participated in an investment round for Moreh, a startup that develops software for optimising and creating artificial intelligence models.

Moreh raised $22 million in a Series B round, with the startup raising a total of $30 million in investment. Moreh's flagship product, MoAI software, enables graphics processing units (GPUs) and other AI chips to handle a variety of models, including large language models, without code changes.

According to the company, the solution outperforms NVIDIA's platform in terms of performance and cost-effectiveness for AI training. KT has been using Moreh's software with AMD GPUs since 2021 and validates the claimed benefits.

The investment Moreh received will be used for research and development, product line expansion, and hiring. The company currently employs 70 people.
