Facebook builds its own streaming service into video games

Facebook seriously decided to fight for the audience of streamers from YouTube, Twitch and Mixer. Previously, social network concluded a contract for exclusive displays of e-sports, but now everything has become serious. The company Zuckerberg went to meet the community by providing its own platform for video games.

What is known

Developers will provide a set of software tools that will allow you to embed direct Facebook broadcasts into the game. Users will be able to "stream" in the social network without using special programs or capture cards. Facebook also prepared gifts for the audience. For viewing the streams of a particular game, users will receive in-game items.

When to expect

Software tools will be available to developers next week. If you are one of them, Facebook offers to register to receive updated information. The official launch will take place on March 24 during the Paladins Premier League.
