In 2023, 12-14 per cent of Apple's iPhone 14 smartphones will be assembled in India
Apple is shifting product manufacturing from China to India. The migration is being handled by Luxshare. Already this year, more than 10% of all iPhone 14 will be assembled in India.

Foxconn's Zhengzhou facility has suffered several times due to quarantine and mass protests by workers. The plant is expected to see a 35-45 per cent decline in share in 2024. In addition, Apple's smartphone production volumes in Taiyuan will drop by 75-85%.
The migration of production will lead to the fact that by the end of 2023, 12-14% of iPhone 14 smartphones will be produced in India. At the same time, Foxconn will have an 80% share. Apple contractors now produce $7bn worth of smartphones a year. Within five years, the figure will increase almost six times. Moreover, the development of iPhone 17 may partially take place in India.
