Why wait?
First Xiaomi Mi 6X attributed the company's chipset Surge S2 . Later, there were rumors about MediaTek Helio P60, but our colleagues from XDA Developers also denied this information. From the database of the Chinese regulator TENAA it is known that the smartphone uses an eight-core processor with a clock frequency of 2.2 GHz. The parameters are suitable for at least two - it's Snapdragon 630 and Snapdragon 660. And since the SoC SDM660 for Wayne (code name Mi 6X) is mentioned several times in the firmware files, the secret of the hardware platform can be considered uncovered.
Xiaomi Mi 6X is also equipped with 4/6 gigabytes of operating and 32/64/128 gigabytes of internal memory. There is no microSD card slot. 5.99-inch display with an aspect ratio of 18: 9 and a resolution of 2160x1080 pixels is exactly the same as that of Redmi 5 Plus / Redmi Note 5 . The main dual camera consists of 12 and 20 megapixel modules, the front camera is 20-megapixel. For autonomy, the battery is responsible for 2910 mAh. The case is all-metal, whereas the models of the younger line have plastic inserts from the top and bottom.
Probably, the international version of Xiaomi Mi A2 will also receive Snapdragon 660. As Mi Note 3, only in metal.
