Karim Debbagh, lead line producer at Kasbah Films in Tangier, who is securing a number of projects from the US and UK, has spoken about the filming of Lord of War, which he is also working on.

According to Debbagh, filming is scheduled to begin in March 2024. They should last around 40 days and suitable locations across Morocco are being picked up at the moment.

The producer also explained that Morocco was chosen because its landscapes are so versatile that they can easily replace and recreate the atmosphere of Libya, Egypt, Senegal and Mali, where the film will supposedly be set.

Here's What The Movie Is About

Information about the second part of "Lord of War" is not much. It is known that in the director's chair, as with the original 2005 film, again Andrew Niccol, and the main role of an arms dealer named Yuri Orlov, still performs Nicolas Cage.

In the story, Orlov discovers that he has an illegitimate son named Anton, played by Bill Skarsgard, who has followed in his father's footsteps.
