"Old Man" iPhone 5s, possibly, will receive iOS 12

Apple has already appointed the date for the conference for developers WWDC 2018. One of the most anticipated announcements of the event will be the next version of iOS 12. Many owners of iPhone 5s have already managed to assume that their "old men" will not receive a fresh update. But perhaps it is not.

What is known

Thanks to the "engine" of WebKit, (used in the Safari browser), a page was found with a test that mentions the iPhone 5s with an unannounced iOS 12. The smartphone was tested in January. Of course, this does not guarantee that the device will actually be updated. Perhaps Apple just checks how the new version of the OS behaves on the old device.

Recall, the smartphone came out in 2013. It was equipped with a 4-inch screen with a resolution of 1136 × 640 pixels. In addition, the iPhone 5S has a dual-core chip Apple A7 with a video accelerator PowerVR G6430, as well as 1 GB of RAM and 16/32/64 GB ROM. The main camera in the smartphone at 8 megapixels, and the front one at 1.2 megapixels. Initially, the device worked on iOS 7, but now it has been updated to version 11.3.
