Apple memorabilia is constantly being auctioned off and sold at sky-high prices. Such was the case with a cheque once signed by co-founder Steve Jobs.
Here's What It Costs
The cheque for $4.01 was issued by Steve Jobs on July 23, 1976, just 4 months after Apple was founded. At that time, Jobs went shopping at RadioShack, a chain of electronics retailers, in whose name the cheque was issued.
RR Auction recently auctioned off the preserved through. It was originally expected to fetch $25,000, but ended up selling for $46,063.
But that's not a record at all. In May, another Apple cheque signed by Jobs in July 1976 for the sum of $175 was put up for auction. It was sold for $106,985.
