Sam Altman's iPhone stopped working after news of his dismissal from OpenAI

Perhaps one of the biggest news stories of the second half of November was the unexpected dismissal of Sam Altman as CEO of OpenAI, the very company that developed the ChatGPT chatbot. As it turned out, not even Sam Altman's iPhone could handle this news.

Altman himself revealed in a recent interview that his smartphone was out of commission for a while because right after he was fired, Sam was inundated with a lot of messages and notifications. They were from people who were interested in working with Altman.

"My phone was just like unusable because it was just notifications nonstop. iMessage did this thing where it stopped working for a while, then messages got delivered late, then it marked everything as read." - Altman revealed.

Luckily, it all worked out, and Sam Altman is already back in the OpenAI CEO chair.
