Tesla unveils second-generation Optimus humanoids - robots can parody Musk

Tesla has revealed the Optimus Gen 2 robots. The second-generation humanoids have learnt to parody the dances of Elon Musk.

Here's What We Know

The second-generation humanoid robot has better kinematics and more sensitive fingers. In addition, the weight of Optimus Gen 2 has been reduced by 10kg compared to the humanoid presented last year.

The hands have been given 11 degrees of freedom. The company's developers added sensitivity to each of the 10 fingers, allowing the robots to handle fragile objects with less risk of damaging them. In particular, the video shows Optimus Gen 2 turning chicken eggs.

The second-generation humanoid's walking speed has increased by 30 per cent, while its carrying capacity has not changed, despite the fact that the robot has lost 10kg in weight. Optimus Gen 2 can squat and dance. It is worth noting that during dancing, most of the movements are performed with the hands.
