Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown gameplay trailer shows off the main features of the new action-platformer

Ubisoft has released an informative video that introduces gamers to all the main mechanics of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown.

Here's What We Know

The French developer's new game is a classic action-platformer with elements of Metroidvania: players can expect dynamic gameplay with a side view, jumping on platforms and various ways to overcome traps and obstacles.

In Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, as usual in Metroidvania, there will be spacious, intricate locations linked together in unexpected ways. Most locations are inaccessible initially, but with the acquisition of certain items and abilities the player will be able to get into closed locations. In order not to get confused in them, gamers are invited to take a screenshot and attach it to a specific place on the map - this feature is called "The Eye of the Wanderer" (The Eye of the Wanderer).

When We Can Expect It

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will release on 18 January 2024 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch.

A free demo of the game will be available from 11 January, and you can pre-order the game now and get outfitted in the style of Prince of Persia: Warrior Within.
