Samsung Galaxy S9 with Android 8.1 Oreo on board appeared in GeekBench
Samsung Company introduced its flagship smartphones Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 + in March. Both new items "out of the box" work on Android 8.0 Oreo. But now, apparently, the manufacturer has already started testing the new software.
What is known
The younger version of the smartphone appeared in the database GeekBench with Android 8.1 Oreo on board. According to the image, in the single-core test the device scored 3378 points, and in the multi-core test - 10185. The indices slightly increased, compared to the similar test of Galaxy S9 on Android 8.0 Oreo. It's not surprising, most likely, in the update, developers have improved the performance of the device. It is also worth noting that the test went through the model SM-G960F with the Exynos 9810 chip and 4 GB of RAM. Unfortunately, there are no time limits for the distribution of the latest version of Android.
Characteristics
Recall, the smartphone has a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of QHD + and a ratio of 18.5: 9. For the performance of the device is the company's own Exynos 9810 processor (in China and the US - Snapdragon 845). The Galaxy S9 is equipped with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of ROM. In addition, the device has a 12 megapixel main camera and 8 megapixel front.
