James McCaffrey, the actor who lent his voice to Max Payne and other characters in Remedy games, has passed away
There is sad news for fans of the Max Payne series.
At the age of 65 James McCaffrey - the actor, who gave his voice, perhaps, the most famous detective of video games - Max Payne died.

James McCaffrey has been battling a serious illness, but sadly his battle came to an end on Sunday 17 December.
The actor voiced Max Payne's atmospheric lines in all three instalments of the series. In addition, McCaffrey voices other characters from Remedy's games: Detective Alex Casey in Alan Wake 2 and Zachariah Trench in Control.
The Finnish developers have already published a statement expressing sympathy to the actor's family and saying that they were happy to work with such a talented person.
