Post Trauma authors are not happy: the release of the Oblivion remaster has overshadowed the work of the indie studio. Horror developers to hold symbolic re-release event

The loudest event of the week in the gamer community was undoubtedly the "unexpected" release of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion remaster. It took place on the 22nd of April without any preliminary announcement and attracted a lot of attention of the public, who were glad to see a quality updated version of the 2006 game.
However, this surprise on the part of Microsoft and Bethesda spoiled the plans of a small publisher Raw Fury, which released the horror game Post Trauma exactly on the 22nd of April.
Here's What We Know
Raw Fury's head Jonas Antonsson expressed regret that Post Trauma's release went unnoticed by the general public due to the release of Oblivion.
He admitted to a long-standing personal fondness for TES IV, but reasonably noted that such unannounced releases by major companies have a negative impact on smaller developers and publishers, causing their games to go unnoticed.
I adored (when I was younger) and still adore Oblivion, and I'm glad that the game has been given new life and introduced to a new generation of players.
But in terms of indie projects and indie publishers, such sudden hit releases are a problem. Everything else gets overshadowed one way or another. We don't have extra money and capacity, so everything is carefully planned. Including release dates with other releases in mind - to increase the chances of getting attention.
I'm excited about an unanticipated game, but I feel bad for our team, especially for a developer we've worked with for years and who has put his heart and soul into his game.
In order to draw attention to Post Trauma, the publisher Raw Fury made an unusual and creative decision: the company announced that it will re-launch Post Trauma on the 23rd of June.
Good things come to those who wait, so we'll be patient.

On June the 23rd, prepare for Post Trauma: The Re-Release - Except We're Not Un-Releasing It First, and It's Pretty Much the Same. #PostTraumaTheReRelease #PleaseNoShadowDropThisTime pic.twitter.com/Dcdff2Hrex
It's not exactly clear what kind of event the publisher will prepare, but it will be of a symbolic nature, as Post Trauma is out and available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, receiving good reviews and reminiscent of the first instalments of the legendary Silent Hill series.
