Volvo FE Electric: a stylish electric garbage truck with a power reserve of 200 km and a power of 354 hp.

In April, Volvo has produced a city electric truck Volvo FL Electric . Now, the manufacturer introduced FE Electric - a fashionable electric garbage truck.

Features

The total weight of Volvo FE Electric is 27 tons. The electric car is equipped with two electric motors for 260 kW (354 hp) and a torque of 850 Nm. There are two options for equipping with batteries for 200 and 300 kWh. In the first case, the power reserve is 200 km, in the second - 300 km. Batteries have fast charging technology, so the battery is fully charged in 1.5 hours.

When to expect

The Volvo FE Electric electric garbage truck will first appear on the streets of Hamburg in early 2019. Approximately at the same time, the serial delivery of the model to all comers will begin. On the price is still unknown.
