Samsung ViewFinity S6 S65TC - Curved VA monitor with 100Hz and AMD FreeSync for $690
Samsung has announced a new curved monitor in the ViewFinity series. The model is called Samsung ViewFinity S6 S65TC.
Here's What We Know
The monitor is equipped with a VA panel with a resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels. The screen has an aspect ratio of 21 to 9, 1000R radius of curvature, HDR10 and AMD FreeSync support. The image refresh rate is 100Hz, brightness is 350 nits and the sRGB colour gamut coverage is 115%.
One of the main features of Samsung ViewFinity S6 S65TC is the presence of two USB-C connectors with Thunderbolt 4 support, which is very rare in this price segment. One of the ports supports 90W fast charging.
Apart from the USB-C pair, the Samsung ViewFinity S6 S65TC has two USB-A 3.0 ports, as well as one each of HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.2. USB-B, LAN and 3.5mm. The monitor can be wall-mounted, and the included stand allows for tilt, height and swivel adjustments.
Price & When We Can Expect It
The Samsung ViewFinity S6 S65TC made its debut in the Republic of Korea, where it will soon be available for pre-order. The monitor has been priced at $690. There is no word yet on the availability of the model outside the country.
