Ukrainian Air Force destroys three Russian Su-34 generation 4++ fighter jets
The Russian army has lost three Su-34 fighter jets at once. This was reported by the commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, Mykola Oleshchuk.

The fighters of the 4++ generation were hit in the south of Ukraine. There is no official information about what means of defeat was used. Russian media confirm the destruction of three aircraft and write about the use of MIM-104 Patriot air defence system.
Later, the media published photos of a Russian rescue helicopter at the place where the pilots of the planes landed. There are also rumours of allegedly shooting down one Su-35 and two Su-34s. This information has not been confirmed at the moment.
The Su-34 is a frontline supersonic fighter-bomber. Its cost can reach $50 million. In recent months, the Russians have been using these aircraft to launch smart bombs.
