All new models feature OLED Glare-Free technology that reduces glare and support VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 technology, which ensures brightness and colour saturation regardless of the content being displayed.
In addition, the monitors support AMD FreeSync Premium Pro for seamless, low-latency gaming. Physically, the monitors have two HDMI 2.1 ports, a USB hub and a DisplayPort 1.4 input, as well as height adjustment.
There will also be improvements to the monitors' usability. In particular, for the first time, Odyssey will feature flat OLED models with a 16:9 aspect ratio, as well as a new Core Lighting+ LED backlight with a thinner (only 3.9 mm) bezel. The Odyssey OLED G9 and Odyssey OLED G8 also feature a built-in Samsung SmartThings Hub for connecting various IoT devices.
Overall, Samsung's new monitor models strengthen its OLED product line, enhancing the company's presence in the gamer monitor market.
