SMITE 2, the sequel to one of the most popular MOBA games, has been announced
As part of the SMITE World Championship 2024 cybersport competition, developers from Hi-Rez Studios and Titan Forge Games announced the long-awaited sequel to the popular MOBA game.
Here's What We Know
SMITE 2 announcement trailer was presented to the public.
The shown footage allows us to conclude that the players are expecting the same dynamic and colourful third-person network action with a huge number of unique characters and an emphasis on teamwork.
The sequel significantly surpasses the first game in terms of graphics quality and technical parameters, as it is created on the modern engine Unreal Engine 5.
The trailer shows fragments of the alpha version, so the developers warn that it does not reflect the final version of SMITE 2.
Gamers are invited to go to the official SMITE 2 website, as well as to the game's page on Steam and EGS to get the first details and register for alpha testing.
When We Can Expect It
SMITE 2's release date is listed as "soon".
In addition to PC, the game will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
