Valery Zaluzhny and the Ukrainian Air Force confirmed the shooting down of a Russian A-50 long-range radar detection and control aircraft

A few hours ago we wrote, citing our colleagues from RBC-Ukraine, that the Ukrainian armed forces had shot down a Russian A-50 long-range radar detection and control aircraft. Now the information has been officially confirmed by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Zaluzhny.

Zaluzhny reported the news on his social networks. In addition, he published a map, which shows the place of combat operation of the aircraft. Also shot down A-50 confirmed the Air Force of Ukraine. By the way, besides it, the AFU also destroyed the enemy's Il-22 air control centre.
