Insider: Sony is preparing an updated version of the Until Dawn horror game - an announcement could come soon

Recently, reputable insider billbil-kun revealed that the anticipated PlayStation 5 exclusive The sequel to Death Stranding will be called "Death Stranding 2: On the Beach", and the next trailer will be released within two weeks, - insider, and a new trailer will be unveiled within the next fortnight.

The French journalist also lifted the veil of secrecy over another Sony project.

Here's What We Know

Billbil-kun confirmed rumours about the development of an updated version of Until Dawn, which was released in 2015 - for the first time such information appeared back in 2022, but then it was not confirmed.

Now, according to an insider, Sony is developing a remake/remaster for PlayStation 5 and possibly PC. Billbil-kun can't yet say how much of an upgrade gamers should expect, but he's confident that work on the game has been going on for over a year.

It also remains unclear whether Supermassive Games studio is involved in the creation of the updated version of Until Dawn or whether another developer is handling the project.

The informant is sure that Until Dawn will be shown in the next 15 days - and here it's worth reminding that, according to several sources, Sony will hold a new edition of State of Play show at the end of January.

Last week it was revealed that Until Dawn will be getting a film adaptation, directed by "Shazam!" and "Annabelle: Creation" director David F. Sandberg.
