As Geralt of Rivia used to say: "No witcher has ever died in his bed" - which seems to be the fate of the White Wolf himself.

In the Blood and Wine add-on for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt the hero got the Corvo Bianco winery, where he hoped to spend the rest of his life, but his adventures are not over yet.

Here's What We Know

CD Projekt RED and Dark Horse Publishing have announced a new comic book mini-series set in The Witcher universe.

The events of The Witcher: Corvo Bianco will unfold after the finale of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Blood and Wine and will force Geralt to leave his possessions in Toussaint and go on the road again to defeat a new enemy.

It is noteworthy that the author of the comic Bartosz Sztybor claims that the events of the new Witcher's adventures are reminiscent of a western.

Everyone knows that for Geralt Korvo Bianco turned out to be "the last refuge". It is the finale of his adventure and the only place where he can "retire" - taking a break from killing monsters and figuring out the process of making his own wine. As a fan of mixing genres in a postmodern style, I saw here a great tie-in for a western.

The Witcher: Corvo Bianco is illustrated by artist Corrado Mastantuono, who is just as well known for his work in the western genre.

When We Can Expect It

The first of five issues of The Witcher: Corvo Bianco mini-series will be available on 8 May, giving fans a total of five issues of the story. In honour of the announcement, the comic's creators have revealed a few illustrations.
