Big changes in Ancient Egypt: High Tide free add-on and major patch for Total War: Pharaoh
The first add-on for the historical strategy Total War: Pharaoh has been released.
Here's What We Know
High Tide was planned as a paid DLC, but due to justified criticism of Total War: Pharaoh the developers made it free as an apology.
In High Tide players will get two factions of sea peoples Sherden and Peleset. Together they will bring 37 units and new gameplay mechanics to the game.
The basis of gameplay for these factions will be the construction of tribal outposts, which give various bonuses and advantages over the enemy, and can be the key to victory.
It is noteworthy that the Sherden and Peleset tribes do not need to own territory to build outposts - they can build them even on the enemy's land.
Another new mechanic will be war trophies, which will help you discover valuable objects to capture and allow you to get more resources.
In honour of the High Tide DLC release Creative Assembly studio released a special video, in which they demonstrated all the main innovations.
In addition to High Tide, Total War: Pharaoh has also received a major update 1.1.0, the full list of its changes is published on the Total War website.
