France continues to help Ukraine by transferring a new batch of LRU multiple rocket launchers to the Ukrainian armed forces.

France has transferred an additional batch of LRU multiple rocket launchers to Ukraine, a modified version of the M270

Flashback

LRU (lance-roquettes unitaire) is a French modification of the American multiple rocket launcher M270. The LRU is built on the tracked base of the Bradley BMP. It is designed to fulfil combat missions of defeat and destruction from closed firing positions at a range of 2 to 500 km (depending on the projectile). It can be used at any time of day and under any weather conditions. One such unit can carry up to 12 missiles.
