Asus plans to release ROG Ally successor this year
Asus has announced its plans for the successor to the ROG Ally portable gaming PC. Speaking to Techlusive, Arnold Su, Vice President of Consumer and Gaming PCs, Asus India, said that the company plans to release the second generation of the ROG Ally later this year.

"We most likely will launch a second-generation [handheld gaming console] this year. We will still keep the Windows features, but we will focus more on gaming,"
The executive also shared information about the success of ROG Ally in the Indian market, indicating that 70 to 80 thousand units of the device were sold in the country. According to him, ROG Ally was more popular in the Indian market than in countries with more developed gaming PC markets.
Asus RPG Ally was released last year and had a price tag of $699. Compared to other portable gaming computers such as Steam Deck, the Asus device had more powerful hardware and ran on Windows 11, which made it possible to use services such as Game Pass or cheat protection systems.
