Stardew Valley 1.6 update will be bigger than expected, developer announces
Stardew Valley developer Eric Barone, also known as "ConcernedApe," has posted on his Twitter account (X) that the 1.6 update will be larger than originally planned. He also said that the update is currently undergoing bug fixes and "polishing", potentially indicating that the release date is closer than expected.
1.6 ended up being a bit larger in scope than originally planned. I'm done adding major new content to it now, though, and it's in a bug-fixing and polishing phase until it's ready for release. Thx for your patience. It'll be fun to see everyone play it!

Here's What We Know
Update 1.6 was announced back in September last year. It should add a lot of new content to the game, such as more than 100 new dialogue lines, new items, secrets, a large-scale festival, and a multiplayer mode for up to 8 players for the PC version.
